Get refreshed with CrossTraining! Classes are held every Wednesday night from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the Activities Center (1939 Independence Blvd). The next session will begin on September 4 through November 14.
Each semester offers several options for adults. The classes offered last session were Holy Conversations, A Study in the Book of Exodus, and The Sent Ones (click here for class details). There are also fun and exciting classes for our children and meaningful small groups for youth!
Come as often as you can, but come because everything in Jesus is better together!
Children's CrossTraining: 5:45-7:15 PM
Preschoolers & Children will explore music, instruments, rhythm and singing as important parts of worship and praise in Singers. Children will learn important Bible verses, Bible skills, church seasons, symbols and colors and Baptist principles in Seekers. Servers will engage students with missions and the work of missionaries around the world and in our own hometown. We will learn about, pray for and participate in missions in Servers. YOUTH CROSSTRAINING: 6:15-7:15PM
Our youth take advantage of this time to meet for small group book and Bible studies, giving them time to share with their peers and trusted mentors.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNERS: 5PM-6PM
As we continue our delicious Wednesday night meals, make plans to join others for dinner around the table beginning at 5:00 p.m. each week. This semester, meals are catered by deliciosu MIDDLE OF THE ISLAND!! Meal price is $7 for adults, $4 for kids, $22 family max. You can pay at the door or send a check to the church office. KAREN TUTORING & WOMEN'S MENTORING: 6:15-7:15PM
Come build relationships of love with the Karen women. As a part of Wednesday Night CrossTraining, we help the Karen women learn to speak English. This is an exciting time of allowing God to use us as His heart as we love these precious Burmese people who have chosen to live among us. There is also an opportunity to tutor the young Karen children!
