God LOVES kids and so do we! It is an honor to serve you and your children as we partner together in their spiritual growth! We want every child to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ; know God, not just with their head, but with a heart knowledge that moves them to action – to love God, and to love and serve others.
2025 Kids's Camps:
This summer FBC Kids Ministry will be hosting SEVEN weeks of EPIC Summer Camps! Following God is an EPIC adventure not to be missed! Kids will learn to KNOW who God is and GROW in how they follow God. They will be challenged to GO where God leads, PERSIST through life’s challenges and CELEBRATE all that God has done and is doing!

Camp Creation is our preschool camp designed specifically for 3, 4 and 5 year olds who will be entering Kindergarten in 2025, 2026, and 2027. Each day campers will engage in Bible story, art, music, crafts, rotation stations and outdoor play where every minute of our time together is filled with engaging, fun activities! June 10-12, 9:00-12:00. Total cost $40 per camper. Includes t-shirt, all daily activity supplies and snack.
CAMP JONAH

Camp Jonah is our longest traditional kids camp designed for kids having completed Kindergarten through completed 5th grade. Through daily worship, science, art, missions, connect with God, Bible study, and recreation, campers will engage with scripture, ask meaningful questions, be challenged to grow in their faith, make new friends and hang out with awesome chaperones. June 23-27, 9:00-2:00. Total cost is $75 per camper. $25 deposit. Includes t-shirt, daily activity supplies and lunch each day.

Coastal Adventures takes 1st-5th graders on EPIC adventures around our beautiful coastal area on daily field trips for activities including kayaking, fishing, boating, beach play, Bible study and more! Registration is limited to 24 campers per week for safety and travel needs. June 16-20 OR July 21-25 (CHOOSE ONE), 9:00-2:00. Total cost $125 per camper. $25 deposit. Includes t-shirt, daily field trips and snack. Bring a sack lunch daily.

Passport Kids Camp is an overnight sleepaway camp for completed 3rd-5th graders to Montreat, NC. Campers will join with others from around the region for worship, Bible study, campers’ choice, missions, recreation, a variety show and more. FBC Wilmington chaperones will be with our campers throughout the week while programming is led by National Passport staff. June 30-July 3. 7:30 AM Monday to 7:00 PM Thursday. Total cost $375 per camper. $100 deposit. Limited to 22 campers. Includes tshirt, most meals, housing, daily activities, transportation and snacks.

P.E. Camp engages completed 1st-5th graders in active play and gets them moving in an EPIC way. With daily Bible study, P.E. games, various sports skills and games, campers will have a fun and activity filled morning each day. July 7-11, 9:00-12:00. Total cost $75 per camper. $25 Deposit. Includes t-shirt, daily supplies and snack.

Arts Camp enables completed Kindergarteners to 5th graders to engage in the arts – visual arts, dramatic arts, music and performance as they put on a musical in just one week! Kids will help design the sets, costumes, learn the songs and dialogue, create an art gallery and learn about God’s EPIC love before a showcase for families on Friday evening. July 28-August 1. 9:00 – 3:00. Total cost $125. $25 deposit. Includes t-shirt, daily activity supplies and snack. Bring a sack lunch daily.
Sunday Worship

K-5th grade
Children are a vital part of our worship. We celebrate inter-generational worship and intentionally seek to engage children in kindergarten through 5th grade in worship. There are regularly scheduled children’s sermons, baptisms and parent child dedication services. To help young children engage, we offer worship bags filled with activities to help your children focus during the worship services. These bags are located at the entrances to the sanctuary.

Infants - Preschool
Infants to four-year old’s will receive excellent care in their age-specific classrooms during worship. We provide a caring environment specifically tailored to the age of your children and we staff our nursery rooms with caring professionals and dedicated volunteers who have been screened rigorously. Classrooms are on the preschool hall located directly behind the sanctuary; our door greeters can direct you to this area where you will be met by a childcare host.
Sunday School

Preschoolers: From the youngest age, children are taught about God’s love for them and others. As preschoolers grow, foundational Bible stories come to life each week through story, song, games, art and more!
Elementary Children (Grades K-5): experience God each week through creative, interactive, hands-on lessons. Committed teachers provide a warm and friendly place for children to develop trust and faith.

Associate Pastor to Children and Families
With nearly two decades of professional children’s ministry experience, Becca intentionally and thoughtfully seeks to utilize every opportunity children are entrusted to our care to help them develop a love for God, self, others and the church. She takes seriously the responsibility to help children develop a life-long love of learning about the Bible and helping them to build a foundation of faith upon which they can grow for years to come. She has a Masters of Divinity from McAfee School of Theology and a BS in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from the University of Georgia. She is married and has four children.
